Malham and the surrounding area has some superb holiday cottages. Malham is a picturesque traditional Dales village set amidst rolling countryside. The limestone Scar at Malham Cove and the famous Tarn and Gordale Scar provide some of the most spectacular scenery in the Yorkshire Dales.
Malham has 2 country inns serving excellent food, teashops, specialised shops and the National Park Centre in the village will provide all the information you need for exploring the heart of the Dales.
Walks beckon from the doorstep ranging from a leisurely stroll or a bracing hike across the fells, and the long distance ‘Pennine Way’ walk is close by. The market towns of Settle, Grassington and Skipton all have an array of individual shops and restaurants and are within 30 minutes’ drive from Malham.
Kirkby Malham has a picturesque location that is close to Malham village. The local pub in Kirkby Malham, The Victoria Inn, serves real ales and good food. Airton is a pretty village with a farm shop & teashop/restaurant. Both villages are close to the wonderful Yorkshire Dales scenery and offer magnificent walking opportunities.

Town End Farm Cottages are three holiday properties which form part of a barn conversion – dating back to the 1800s. There are long distance views of Malham Cove from the rear of the accommodation. Set amidst rolling Yorkshire Dales countryside, criss crossed with limestone walls, there are stunning walks from the doorstep to Malham Cove, Goredale Scar, Malham Tarn and Janet’s Foss. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area.
The Town End Farm Cottages have well furnished interiors with features such as exposed stonework, beams and arches. The properties are set on the owners’ working farm where they also run a farm shop, stocking local produce and crafts. Visitors are welcome to bring their dog, but kept under strict control on the farm. Each cottage has its own separate garden area with barbecue equipment. Complimentary tea tray with local produce.
