Cropton is a tranquil and picturesque village near Pickering, North Yorkshire. It is located at the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park. This is an excellent scenic area, ideal for walking and cycling activities. There are some lovely holiday properties in and around Cropton!

In the village you can take a tour of the well-known brewery and enjoy meals and drinks in the New Inn pub. Woodland walks are easily accessible from the village. Visit the nearby Cawthorne Roman Camps for an interesting walk and lovely panoramic views over the Tabular Hills and beautiful surrounding countryside.

Cropton is a superb location for visiting the North York Moors & Yorkshire Heritage Coast. There are many nearby visitor attractions including Ryedale Folk Museum, Flamingo Land, North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Pickering Castle, Nunnington Hall, Eden Camp, Castle Howard are easily reached by car.
